Science in the Summer: Plants

Being outside is one of my favorite parts of the summer.  While you’re taking long walks in the park or lying in the grass, it is nice to stop and notice all of the science around you.  This week’s downloads are all about plants.  Younger kids can learn about the parts of a flower while older kids can start to learn about the process of photosynthesis. There is even a worksheet about the life cycle of a dandelion!

Don’t forget to keep up on your math skills!  Here are some plant themed math problems.
