Football Math

Are you ready for some football?  You and your students don’t have to wait until Sunday; you can play football any day of the week with Simple Solutions Football Math.  Upper-level students will use what they’ve learned in CCSS 4.MD.3 to covert yards, feet, and inches to find the perimeter and area of a regulation football field. The next activity addresses CCSS 7.G.1; students will use scale to create smaller football fields for paper football.  Younger students can stick with the football theme when they complete their worksheets on standards 4.NBT.2 and 2.NBT.3.

This summer our Baseball Math hit a home run with teachers and students across the country, so we think Football Math will score a touchdown with your class!
