To celebrate Black History Month we have attached a Social Studies and Reading comprehension lesson.  This activity is about another brave African American woman, Bessie Coleman.  The reading comprehension page comes with discussion questions and a downloadable crossword puzzle that is ready to be used in the classroom.  Students will learn all about this brave woman who followed her dreams to become a pilot.
