Teacher Materials

A complimentary Teacher's Edition is provided with the purchase of a class set of Simple Solutions student books. The Teacher's Edition provides the following:
  • Complete instructions for implementing the Simple Solutions Approach.
  • Pacing Charts or Topic Guides that correlate the lessons with new material; Pacing Charts / Topic Guides indicate which lesson contains the first item having to do with any new concept. This allows teachers to plan instruction accordingly.
  • Weekly Quizzes; Quizzes contain items randomly selected from the previous week's lessons. Alternate quizzes cover the same skills but use items that the students have not seen before.
  • Answers to all student lessons and weekly quizzes.
  • Pre / Post Tests, a parent letter, and student Help Pages.

Additional Available Resources include:

  • Overhead Transparencies and CD's of the answers to student lessons, which assist with student self-checking of daily lessons.
  • Student answer CD's ($89.95) for Simple Solutions Pre-Algebra and Algebra I now include slide presentations for instruction, as well as extra practice for students. The CD’s can be used with interactive boards or monitors to present all the new concepts covered in these upper level books.
  • Quick Assessments that help to determine the appropriate Simple Solutions level. These are particularly useful when initially implementing Simple Solutions, or when working with non-typical learners, such as students with special needs or gifted learners.
  • Help Pages for each level, in Spanish (Math and English Grammar books only), for support of English Language Learners and their families.
