Simple Solutions Open House!

We opened our doors to give friends and family a behind-the-scenes look at Simple Solutions, and it was a blast!

Open House

Since moving into our new building in late February, the Simple Solutions team has grown to love our new offices, print shop, and warehouse spaces. When you love something as much as we love our Simple Solutions home and the work we do, you can’t help wanting to share it with friends and family. So, a few weeks ago, that’s just what we did!

Personally, I was thrilled to show my family where I work and to help them understand a bit more of what it means to be a proofreader and writer for this company. I was even able to show them some examples from our latest projects as well as introduce them to some of the books the company has created in the past. Between the questions about my job and my mother insisting on taking a picture of me sitting at my desk, it was a busy day. My family, like all of our guests, was excited to learn more about Simple Solutions and meet the co-workers I tell stories about.

In all, Simple Solutions welcomed nearly 150 guests who, like my parents, got the chance to see what we do and where we do it. Employees led tours throughout the building explaining how we go from concepts and writing, to printing and shipping all of our Simple Solutions and Summer Solutions books. We were even able to show off our print shop in action as visitors watched blank pages turn into Simple Solutions English books before their very eyes. Eagle-eyed guests even spotted our newest book, Ohio Studies, among the pallets.

So, to everyone who was able to attend, who uses our products, who interacts with us on social media, and who reads this blog, we would like to give a big thank you! Thank you for supporting the Simple Solutions team and for sharing your time with us.
